Thanks. It's actually a type of poetry I'm less familiar with. My comfort zone is really free verse. I mean, I feel like pushing myself to focus on rhyme or meter ends up taking away from the sentiments I'm compelled to convey in my writing. But luckily when I wrote this one, I kind of knew that all that was needed to be said could be said in just a few words and I wouldn't have to push too far and voila, the haiku was born. Glad you enjoyed.
I love language. I am often in awe of the ways in which people use it to string together moments of art, love, and logic. Here are my attempts at doing just that.
